**Job Summary and Qualifications**

**Job Summary:**

Operating room schedulers reserve space for each procedure in a hospital that requires anesthesia services and/or Operating Room services. They work closely with the OR Charge Nurse and OR Manager to coordinate staff and rooms as necessary. Schedulers use a computer system to reserve their time. They also book any specialty services, i.e. ultrasound, vendors, special equipment, supplies, etc. Cases scheduled may be outside of the Operating Room if they require anesthesia.

**What qualifications you will need:**

+ High School Graduate / GED required
+ Scheduling experience preferred
