**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our **Surgery Nurse** at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, you will prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide exceptional nursing care in the operating room during their most vulnerable moments.

Every day you will meticulously manage pre-operative tasks, including consent forms, patient education, and assessments, ensuring equipment readiness for surgical procedures. You'll keep family members updated on surgery status and directly assist the surgeon, applying skills learned through computer-based learning, instructor-led sessions, simulation, and clinical immersion with dedicated preceptors.
