**Job Summary:**

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in southwest Jacksonville is seeking a Trauma Surgeon to join our dynamic trauma and acute care surgery team with the only trauma center in Clay County. HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is a Florida Department of Health Level II trauma center.

**About HCA Orange Park Trauma:**

+ Fulltime role with 14 shifts per month: 12-hour primary in-house coverage, plus 12-hour back-up (rarely called in)
+ The acute care surgery team has six advanced practice professionals, with 24-hour APP coverage
+ General surgery and emergency medicine residents rotate on the service
+ The program participates in TQIP and TQIP collaboratives
+ 2,000+ trauma patients in 2022
+ Covers all general surgery call for the hospital
