The Elcho Group: Takirrina and Bottom Shop

The Storeperson will be responsible for receiving incoming goods across 2-3 deliveries onto the island from the barge each week. There will be food, fuel and general merchandise arriving on pallets. Attention to detail, checking quantities and noting discrepancies will be important for this position.

You will maintain records of quantities held and be able to utilize specialist equipment to manage the stock and move it from storage and across to the 2 stores as needed. A forklift license and a truck license is preferable. This role suits a physically fit person with a good command of common sense. Also, must be considerate of indigenous culture.
