Responsibilities
Supplier Quality Management:
Conduct supplier audits and validate manufacturing processes through First Article Inspections (FAI), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, Cp/Cpk).Perform root cause analysis to resolve supplier non-conformances, leading and closing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) efficiently to prevent recurring issues.Ensure supplier compliance with companies quality standards and collaborate with suppliers to align with manufacturing requirements.Monitor supplier part quality throughout the product lifecycle, recommending corrective actions as needed.BOM Management (BOM Master)Create, update, and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) in ERP/PLM systems (e.g., Microsoft Business Central, Arena PLM), ensuring alignment between engineering BOMs and manufacturing BOMsCollaborate on Engineering Change Orders (EC...
