Role Overview Supplier QualityEngineer Remote travel once a week across Midlands Salary- from £40,000 up to £48,000 plus car allowance Key Responsibilities Develop positive relationships and work closely with key suppliers to manage, implement and track supplier/engineering design changes, capacity studies and New Product Introductions and transfers. Collaboration with suppliers to identify root cause(s) of manufacturing and special process issues and lead implementation of resolutions (containment and countermeasures). Management of supplier DR process (non-conforming product). Hands on approach to fully understand quality issues identified and challenge where necessary. Management of supplier scorecard process, tracking performance against identified KPIs, identifying opportunities to drive improvement and ensuring these are embedded into supplier processes.
