Summary The VA Schedule for Rating Disabilities (VASRD) Assistant Director is the lead supervisor, advisor, and subject matter expert on all VA Schedule for Regulation found in Part 4 of Title38 of the Code of Federal Regulations & is responsible for administrative policies related to rating-related claims and the evaluative criteria for conditions listed as service-related as part of the disability compensation benefits and program. This position is located in Compensation Service, VBA Central Office. Responsibilities Specific duties include: The incumbent reports directly to the Deputy Director for Policy and Procedures, Compensation Service. Supervision is primarily coordinating in nature and ensuring uniform application of performance. The incumbent supervises personnel ranging in grade from GS-8 to GS-14.
