Summary This position is located in Joshua Tree National Park, in the Division of Interpretation, Resource Education and Volunteers. Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will work from approximately 25 pay periods annually, and you will be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year. Responsibilities The major duties of the Park Ranger position include, but are not limited to: Develops and presents interpretive and educational programs (e.g., talks, tours, demonstrations, curriculum-based programs) that facilitate visitor understanding, appreciation, and stewardship of park natural, cultural, and historical resources.
