Summary About the Position: This position is located in Richland, Fort Jackson South Carolina. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is transitioning to the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA). Responsibilities Plans and distributes menus according to the standards of the National School Lunch, School Breakfast and Summer Food Service Programs. Ensures meals are nutritional, well balanced, palatable, attractive, and varied. Provide receipts to be used and preparation techniques to cafeteria managers. Analyze sale trends and adjust menus to maximize sales and meet nutritional guidelines. Purchases all foods, supplies, and equipment though various approved vendors. Inspects cafeteria equipment. Conduct monthly inventories of purchased food, supplies, and USDA foods and conducts regular spot checks of supplies on hand. Verify daily cash receipts, deposit slips, and cash reports.
