The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a second level supervisory contracting officer with warrant authority for an operational contracting acquisition flight providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over subordinate personnel. Responsibilities Plans and organizes the activities of the acquisition flight which include the full range of contracting support to installation organizations as assigned by the Squadron Commander. Ensures contracting actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents the Contracting Squadron with a variety of installation and business organizations. Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments.
