Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities and food preparation Ensure all dishes are prepared according to company standards and recipes Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with food safety regulations Train, guide, and motivate junior kitchen staff Assist in staff scheduling and manpower planning Manage inventory, stock ordering, and stock rotation (FIFO) Reduce food wastage and control kitchen costs Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment Handle customer feedback related to food quality when required Support Head Chef or Management in daily operations
Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Cook, Kitchen Supervisor, or similar role Leadership and team management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and problem-solving skills Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
