The Supervisor Laboratory Operations is responsible for directing, coordinating, and assisting in the activities of specimen preparation and testing services in clinical laboratories for the use in treatment, monitoring, and diagnosis of diseases. Ensures laboratory services meet the needs of patients, and services are performed in accordance with accepted standards and practices.
* Ensures team member competencies with specimen testing protocols, and the accuracy and organization of test results in accordance with all regulatory agency requirements and established departmental procedures.
* Ensures team member competencies in specimen collections from individuals of varying ages, diverse physical and mental disabilities, and health conditions.
