Job Summary:

Maintains responsibility for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of all respective core lab departmental operations. Is accountable for supervision of departmental staff, training, monitoring, and evaluation of staff, managing department supplies and inventory, assists in the developing, reviewing, and revising of department policies and procedures, assessing clinical laboratory quality control and assurance, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory bodies (., state, federal, College of American Pathologists, and Joint Commission). Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
