The mandate of the Board is contained in section 59 of the County Government Acts . These include establishing and abolishing offices in the County Public Service, appointing persons who hold and act in offices of the Public service among others. Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan citizen;

Be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University in Kenya;

Possession of a Master’s degree in a related field will be an added advantage;

Have a vast knowledge and experience in the related field;

Be conversant with the Constitution of Kenya and all the devolution laws;

Demonstrate thorough understanding of County development objectives and vision ;
