**Job Summary and Qualifications**

**The 2nd year ultrasound student, under supervision, is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients. Ultrasound Interns are required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex equipment, and assist other Technologist, Physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function with constant supervision from licensed technologist and/or physician to produce superior quality images. The ultrasound Intern must demonstrate independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Responsibility for designated areas and procedures is assumed.**
