Key responsibilities Student Emotional & Behavioural Support
  • Provide first-line emotional and pastoral support to students.
  • Support students who may be anxious, distressed, withdrawn, or emotionally overwhelmed.
  • Apply active listening, restorative practices, and de-escalation techniques to support students constructively.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with students while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Encourage positive coping strategies, emotional regulation, and resilience.
Case Management & Well-being Monitoring
  • Monitor and support students who may require additional emotional or behavioural support.
  • Maintain appropriate records relating to student support, interventions, and follow-ups.
  • Work closely with school stakeholders to coordinate student support efforts.
