Job Summary:
The Student Counseling Services Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessment, treatment, outreach, and consultation. This role supports student well-being and success through clinical care, prevention programming, and collaboration with campus partners.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct initial intake assessments and provide treatment recommendations to students
+ Provide short- and long-term individual psychotherapy, including some early evening hours (10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.)
+ Facilitate group psychotherapy for students
+ Perform risk assessments and make referrals as appropriate
+ Develop and deliver outreach and preventive programming
+ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical services
+ Participate in Student Counseling Services (SCS) staff meetings and Student Affairs meetings
