Student by hours for research with background in physics or electrical engineering - including students that have finished a degree as electronic technician (handasaut)
Students are being recruited for training and help in topics related to automation, cryogenics, and/or design and construction of radiofrequency and microwave compontents. The student will participate in the completion of a project in magnetic resonance involving shuttling a small chemical sample in and out of a cryogenic environment (3K, -270˚C) in which it is subject to microwave (94GHz) irradiation, into a room-temperature environment in which it will be subject to radiofrequency (500 MHz) irradiation over the course of a magnetic resonance (MRI-like) experiment
