SUMMARY: Seeking experienced welder/fabricator to join our team in repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
• Cutting, forming, punching, stamping, shearing and welding
• Using the correct welding materials to join metals together
• Set up parts for welding; uses hand tools, clamps, jigs and fixtures
• Works from specifications, drawings and welding symbols
• Repair carbon steel parts and machinery daily
• Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Fabrication skills
• Experience in stick welding (Shielded Metal Arc Welding, or SII/AW)
• 2-3 years' experience in structural welding
