Job Description
Our local government client is seeking a Stormwater Inspector to join their growing Public Works team in Petersburg, VA. This individual will be supporting their engineering and storm water management program and responsible for technical and administrative tasks associated with implementing environmental and engineering programs to provide a desired level of service and to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws. Other responsibilities include:

- Responsible for the review of site and development plans and the daily site inspection of multiple construction projects to ensure compliance with local, state and federal codes and standards.
- Performs site construction, erosion & sediment control, and BMP inspections in support of the city's E&S, MS4 and VSMP Permit Programs.
