Introduction

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Storeman that has arisen in the Logistics Department at BBF Safety Group . The Storeman will report to the Warehouse Manager and will have, amongst others, the following duties and responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Store stock accurately in designated locations.
• Pick and pack customer orders and production requirements according to picking slips.
• Prepare goods for dispatch and ensure correct labelling and packaging.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock counts and stock takes.
• Ensure correct stock rotation (FIFO principles where applicable).
