Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Sterile Processing Technologist for their Clarkston, WA location. Responsibilities:

+ Responsible for the general operation and activities of Sterile Processing and Supply department under the supervision of the Surgical Services Director.

+ Knowledgeable in the operation of sterile processing equipment ( washers, autoclaves devices).

+ Knowledgeable about surgical instrumentation and power equipment.

+ Assembles and sterilizes instruments and procedural trays for outlying offices.

+ Verify and accurately document missing instruments according to stand operating procedures.

+ Ensures that each instrument is in good working order prior to placing in tray for use and if any problems do arise reports this information to their supervisor.

+ Cleans instruments to prepare them for sterilization.

+ Records sterilizer test results.
