What the role is: The candidate will join the Manpower Research & Statistics Department, which is responsible for in-depth statistical activities, research & analysis supporting MOM’s strategic outcomes, and to facilitate informed decision making within the government and the community at large.
What you will be working on: - Develop, maintain and execute efficient and effective data processing flows for large scale national surveys on manpower and manage statistical databases;
- Develop statistical tools for the provision of timely and reliable labour market information;
- Organise and maintain documents and reference material related to the databases needed for accurate coding, extraction and upkeep of information;
- Undertake statistical programming/coding for the provision of information/data in support of analysis;
- Handle data requests from the Ministry, external Ministries, Statutory Boards and the public.
