Job Description Purpose Statement: Northstar Mental Health Services works alongside the rest of the Northstar team in providing mental health services to those experiencing emotional distress and other mental health concerns that are interfering with their lives and overall well-being. Our integrated team of professionals work with clients individually, couples, with family, and in group settings. We are looking for individuals that possess the ability to provide psychotherapy to clients and help them to become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive. Key Result Areas: For residential clients, fulfill the mental health component of the co-occurring licensure requirements, which includes completing the initial mental health screen of all new clients within the first 3 days of arrival into program (GAIN-SS), and subsequently completing the diagnostic assessment (DA) within 10 days.
