Description
A growing organization in the Warsaw area is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role reports directly to the Controller and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning key pieces of the accounting cycle.


Key Responsibilities

+ Manage and maintain fixed assets, including capitalization and depreciation schedules

+ Support lease accounting (ASC 842 exposure a plus)

+ Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including:

+ Payroll-related entries

+ Prepaid expenses and amortization

+ Accruals and reconciliations

+ Assist with month-end close and financial reporting

+ Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances

+ Partner with leadership to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data
