Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a SRE / Production Support Engineer – SQL/Linux & Observability for their Onsite/Hybrid to Dallas Metro, TX location. Responsibilities:

+ Prod Support specific SQL and DB, Autosys,

+ Shell scripting, Linux command line operations

+ Observability tools (AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, ITRS)

+ Finance applications Production support involving upstream and downstream data pipelines queries, follow-ups on systems, Linux based commands check, Observability tools-based incident fixes & avoidance, Batch processing, Openshift workloads support, Data private cloud support.

+ Work on complex, broad impact initiatives / projects / issues and provide high level systems consultation to technology teams.

+ Review , analyze and work on complex technical challenges and escalated production issues, evaluating multiple factors such as potential design alternatives, ...
