The Sr. Specialist - Inventory position applies materials expertise to assist with the management of inventory materials at various warehouse locations and pipe yards across multiple states, and serves as a departmental subject-matter expert on gas pipeline and compression-related materials to support Supply Chain. The position is responsible for maintaining critical spare parts inventory levels. This requires working directly with Operations, Reliability, and Procurement personnel and vendors to coordinate repairs to critical spare parts and to requisition new parts when repairing a part is not an option. The position evaluates and inspects incoming and outgoing materials, validates related material documentation (MTRs, certifications, etc.), builds supporting documentation files, and provides shipping, receiving, and expediting support to Materials Management, Procurement, and Engineering staff as needed.
