Job Summary

The therapist is responsible for the evaluation and application of a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with speech and language disorders as well as dysphagia. The therapist demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and disorders of the patients served. The therapist demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data/interpret appropriate information needed to identify each patient's functional skill requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
