Provides excellent customer service in a fast paced environment. Coordinates patient intake, coverage determination, payment coordination, and delivery methods to ensure seamless patient care for those obtaining specialty medications.
Principle Responsibilities
Performs customer service.Manages large call volumes.Assists patients with any non-clinical questions and/or concerns.Supports patient intake, accurately enters patient demographics, history and order information into the practice management system(s).Completes referrals to specialty providers, home health, etc., where needed.Arranges for the proper delivery of the medication when needed.Processes insurance.Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits and records the information in Excellian.Supports providers and payers to expedite prior authorizations and/or formulary exceptions when needed.Helps facilitate financial support and prescription assistance for pat...
