Job Overview

Kamoa Copper SA, a joint‑venture of Ivanhoe Mines, is hiring a Specialized Artisan – High Voltage (HV) for a 24‑month contract. The role is based at the Kamoa Copper Mine in Kolwezi, Democratic Republic of Congo. The successful candidate will maintain and operate electrical equipment ranging from 11kV to 220kV, including circuit breakers, overhead lines, generator sets, and run the power‑management system.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise specialist teams to keep the electrical network running.
• Perform protection‑setting on relays and isolate/declare equipment safe.
• Locate and repair cable and overhead‑line faults.
• Read and interpret complex electrical drawings.
• Maintain and repair generating plants and electronic control systems.
• Work extended shifts and be on standby as required.
