We are delighted to offer the opportunity of a substantive contract for the post of Specialty Doctor in Ophthalmology.

This is a 10 PA per week post.

The post holder will be expected to work as part of a team with responsibility for maintaining the highest standards of clinical care, for teaching of junior staff and medical students, and for actively participating in continuing medical education, department and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.

Main duties of the job

The role is based at the Queen's Hospital, Burton but with some sessions delivered at sister sites. The appointment is subject to the National Terms and Conditions of Service for Specialty Doctors (2021), which may be amended by collective agreement from time to time.
