Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Specialty Doctor in geriatric medicine on a full-time basis for a fixed term of 12 months.

The post will work into our Parkinsons services providing clinics as well as supporting our Elderly Assessment Units.

Responsibilities

• Support the provision of the trust’s geriatric medicine service, in conjunction with consultant colleagues, with a specific aim to expand capacity within our Parkinsons and elderly assessment units.
• Be committed to the training and support of junior medical staff, nurses, and other multidisciplinary team members within the Trust’s older people’s services.
