Job Summary


The Spare Parts Manager is responsible for planning, procurement, storage, inventory control, and distribution of automobile spare parts. The role ensures optimal stock availability, cost control, and timely supply of genuine parts to service centers, workshops, and customers.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage end-to-end spare parts operations including procurement, storage, and distribution

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory

  • Forecast spare parts demand based on vehicle population, service history, and sales trends

  • Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and vendors for timely procurement

  • Ensure proper warehousing, binning, labeling, and FIFO/FEFO practices

  • Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete (SLOB) inventory

  • Control inventory costs, reduce wastage, and improve turnover ratio
