Sous Chef - Award-Winning Restaurant - Constantia, Cape Town

Kendrick Recruitment is searching for an experienced Sous Chef for the acclaimed restaurant division of a 5‑star hotel and wine estate in Constantia, Cape Town. This role is ideal for a driven, technically strong fine‑dining chef ready to take ownership of a section, develop their team and deliver consistently exceptional food in a high‑profile environment. Candidates must currently reside in Cape Town; relocation will not be considered.

Minimum Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Professional Cookery from a recognised institution
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Sous Chef role within a fine‑dining restaurant or 5‑star hotel kitchen
• Strong all‑round culinary skills across multiple sections
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a kitchen brigade
• Sound knowledge of food costing, stock control and ordering
