The Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center is seeking an outstanding medical oncologist to join our program for 6 months in solid tumor oncology with the opportunity to extend. This position has a focus on GI oncology, however expertise in the care of other solid tumor cancer types is required. The position is entirely outpatient, Monday – Friday. There is no call. The candidate will be expected to see patients in clinic/infusion two and a half days per week sharing a panel with a paired APP. Two and a half days per week are unscheduled for administrative duties, such as documentation, follow-up on patient calls, test results, and onsite management of urgent problems in infusion for their patients, providing attending back up for APPs if needed.
