**Harborview Medical Center – Social Work** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Social Worker with the Youth Gun Violence Program.**

**WORK SCHEDULE**

• Full-/time/40 hours per week

• Day Shift

**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**

• The Violence Intervention and Prevention program serves diverse, medically, and psychosocially complex patients with trauma related injuries secondary to gun violence

• Support victims of gunshot violence being seen either in the Emergency Department, Inpatient, or in Specialty Clinics Care. Needs for these patients and families can be extensive and complex, requiring coordination across multiple providers, systems, etc. and may include short-term case management work

• Coordinate tasks that are implemented to successfully transition patients from HMC to their community and serve as a liaison for patients and families with medical teams, nursing staff, outside agencies and p...
