Job Title: Social Worker – Looked After Children
Location: Central Bedfordshire (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: £39.50 per hour

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Children’s Social Worker to join their Looked After Children team in Central Bedfordshire.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will:

Manage a caseload of children who are in the care of the local authority.

Develop, implement, and regularly review care plans tailored to each child’s needs.

Ensure children’s placements (foster care, residential care, kinship care) are safe, stable, and supportive.

Promote the child’s health, education, and emotional wellbeing, ensuring access to appropriate services.

Maintain regular contact with children through statutory visits and direct work.

Prepare and present reports for Looked After Child Reviews.
