An opportunity has arisen to join the Youth Intervention Service, a recently established team working with children and care-experienced young people in conflict with the law and / or exhibiting high-risk behaviour that is continuing to grow. You must be a qualified Social Worker to apply for this post.

This is a fast paced, challenging but highly rewarding role that is well suited for someone who enjoys working with teenagers and is skilled at forming relationships with those who others struggle to and can see the best in anyone.

Youth Intervention Service works with children who have been transferred from locality Children and Families teams, children referred from Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration or the Youth Offender Management Group where there is an assessed or known serious risk of offending in terms of frequency or harm.
