We are seeking a committed and experienced Social Worker to join the Child Protection/Safeguarding Team on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.

The Team comprises seven qualified Social Workers, with support from a Deputy and Team Manager, Social Work Assistants, support staff and students.

The salary for this post is £55,242 up to £69,427, depending on experience.

You will assist in the provision and further development of an effective service for children and families across the island by working closely with other agencies, professionals and members of the public.

This will include undertaking child protection investigations and early help assessments, working with children in need, children in need of protection and children subject of Care Requirements in accordance with the Children (Guernsey and Alderney) Law 2008.
