About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior Engineer, Enterprise Database Services to join our Group Technology team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health, performance, and availability of the Group’s databases.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting on all errors and warning messages found in database logs and OEM alerts by raising service requests with database vendors when necessary to keep databases online without interruption.
• Review and apply all required RDBMS patches according to vendor releases to ensure databases remain secure, stable, and available.
• Analyze and manage RDBMS errors with proper logging and follow‑up until resolution, including deployment of necessary fixes.
• Collect and analyze production database storage data, chart growth patterns, and provide monthly capacity reports.
