The Role:

Two Sexual Health Senior Medical Officers (Grade Code 183T) are required to provide short-term support to the HSE Sligo Sexual Health Clinic (SHC). The assignment is for each Senior Medical Officer is for 6 hours per week, (across 2 evening clinics) for an initial period of 3 months, commencing August 21st  2025. The assignment will involve, though is not limited to, the Senior Medical Officers assisting the Consultant and medical and nursing staff in the delivery of the Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) service in the Sligo/Leitrim/West Cavan area. The Senior Medical Officers will demonstrate clinical experience in the delivery of Sexual Health / GUM / STI.

Note that the duration of the requirement may be extended, subject to service needs.
