Skill Builder - Per Diem





Location: Garden City, NY | Schedule: Up to 19 hours per week | Status: Non-Exempt |Salary Range: $20/hour

The Opportunity

The Skill Builder provides individual and/or group skill building services to enrolled clients who are at risk of or are diagnosed with a mental health diagnosis. Services are provided in the child's home and/or community within Nassau and Western Suffolk County, are hands on, task oriented and intended to help the child achieve their identified goals.

Responsibilities


+ Provide in-person services to assist the youth in developing and applying skills in natural settings.

+ Provide hands on and task-oriented activities based upon the youth's care plan.

+ Provide advocacy skills to the youth being served.

+ Plan and run skill building groups on site.

+ Complete progress notes for all client contacts
