Job Overview

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of care for patients in the Outpatient Services at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Croydon directorate. The post holder will be accountable for the provision of excellent nursing care and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. She/he will provide direct line‑management of the nurses in the outpatient services. The post holder will work with the matron and the Head of Nursing to support nursing staff and ensure services provided in outpatient services are patient focused, safe and efficient, and always working in a manner that promotes Moorfields Way of working, through the adoption of person‑centred care principles, and that all care delivered adheres to best practice standards guidance and criterion for ophthalmic nursing.
