Description

The Single-function paramedic position is a part-time non-benefited position. Part-time positions are limited to 960 hours on a fiscal year basis (July 1 through June 30). Due to budgetary constraints operational budgets do not include funding of CalPERS employer contributions for part-time positions. Therefore, a qualified candidate who is a member of CalPERS from current or past employment will be restricted from part-time employment. As a Single-function Paramedic for the City of La Habra Heights you will be tasked with the protection of life and property throughout the community. Working under officers you will be responding to medical emergencies, traffic collisions, rescues and non- emergency incidents while delivering high quality service to the community.
