JOB SUMMARY: The Shipping and Receiving Technician I is responsible for performing a variety of duties involving receiving, warehousing, material handling and shipping, of materials in accordance with customer specifications, company requirements and shipping and receiving regulations.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):

• Ship product according to customer specifications and company requirements

• Verify accuracy of item count and product details

• Prepare product for shipping

• Operate equipment to package, label and move shipping material

• Follow all safety rules, regulations and procedures

• Uphold the standards necessary to maintain our business certifications and to maintain good quality standards and practices associated with them

• Recognize and refer discrepancies to supervisory personnel before proceeding

• Monitor and re-stock shipping supplies
