Job Description

Our client is a Japan-based company specializing in Lifeboat, Davit, Fire-Fighting Equipment (FFE), and Life-Saving Appliance (LSA) inspections. They are seeking a Service Engineer (Lifeboat) to perform inspection, maintenance, and certification of lifeboats, ensuring safety and compliance with international maritime standards.

Reporting To: Department Manager – Lifeboat

【 Responsibilities 】
- Handle Lifeboat and davits servicing, operational and workshop matters
- Conduct commissioning, installation, and sea trials for new lifeboats.
- Perform annual & five-yearly services for all types of LIFEBOATS, RESCUE BOATS & LAUNCHING APPLIANCES.
- Provide customers with technical support and a high level of service.
- Overseas service jobs and intensive travel overseas.
- Responsible for Developing safety plans, implementation & certification of Jobs carried out on lifeboats.
