The Service Advisor serves as the main liaison between customers and the service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to their vehicle concerns and service needs.
- Document customer complaints, vehicle issues, and requested services clearly and accurately on job orders.
- Provide service recommendations, explain technical details in layman’s terms, and obtain customer approvals for work to be done.
- Coordinate with Service Admins to ensure accurate diagnostics and efficient repair processes.
- Communicate repair status, cost estimates, and completion times to customers regularly.
- Review completed work orders with customers, ensuring they understand the services performed and associated costs.
