Salary: £91,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong experience building voice AI or real-time speech systems
• Hands‑on experience with speech‑to‑text and text‑to‑speech APIs
• Proven ability to deliver production‑grade AI systems
• Good understanding of latency and performance optimisation
• Experience with RAG and data‑driven AI architectures
• Strong API integration skills and a practical engineering mindset
• Comfortable working with sensitive data in production contexts

Responsibilities

• Productionise a voice AI system from an existing proof of concept
• Work with voice platforms such as ElevenLabs, Deepgram, or similar tools
• Improve real‑time performance and reduce latency
• Design lightweight orchestration using simple, deterministic flows over complex prompt chains
• Integrate customer and internal data using RAG approaches
