Result of Service
- He/she will carry out part of the “Report of thirty (30) municipalities most susceptible to risks to disasters in the state of Rio de Janeiro, using existing secondary data, referring to the Baixada Fluminense Metropolitan region. This report will also draw up a non-exhaustive list of strategic initiatives aimed at promoting risk reduction and enhancing the adaptation and resilience of municipalities to extreme climate events. The Senior Technical Consultant will work in close collaboration with the Technical Coordinator Consultant, the Rio Inclusive and Sustainable Coordinator, and the operational, technical and communications teams of UN-Habitat Brazil in Rio de Janeiro. Also, he/she might work in collaboration with local project teams, Government officials, media and civil society.
