Reporting to the Head Chef, the Senior Sous Chef will take full operational responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring all food production consistently reflects the lodge’s exceptional culinary standards. The role encompasses managing kitchen sections and staff canteens, menu design and implementation, quality control, stock and order management, and ensuring all health and safety protocols are maintained to the highest standard. The successful candidate will also actively contribute to the lodge’s sustainability objectives and support the development and multi‑skilling of kitchen staff.
